Hey, I’m Matthew
Lead product designer based in Seattle. Over the past 15 years I've shipped research-driven products at Northwestern Mutual, Remitly, Sterling, and Microsoft — across fintech, enterprise software, and financial services. I work best in the space between ambiguous problem and shipped feature, bridging strategy, research, and cross-functional delivery.
My path into design started in code — hand-building HTML and CSS prototypes back in 2007. That technical fluency never left; it still shapes how I design, prototype, partner with engineering, and now explore what's possible with AI.
